Generalized anxiety disorder (or GAD: excessive, exaggerated worry about everyday life events with no reason or trigger. Usually, it is related to issues about health, money, family, work, or school. It is normal to worry over things but when you have GAD, your worries become unrealistic and out of proportion.
Everyday becomes a constant state of worry, fear, and dread. With time anxiety will dominate your thinking that you will find it hard to do routine things at work or school, socially, and in their relationships. However, GAD is a condition that can be treated.
