FOOD THAT ARE HIGH IN INSOLUBLE FIBRE (TO CONSUME WITH LIMITATION)
- Fruits:Fruits including strawberries and raspberries, as well as citrus fruits, cherries, and grapes. Green bananas and kiwifruit.
- Vegetables:Mange tout, spinach, asparagus, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, large/old peas, sweetcorn, broad beans, green beans, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, red/green/yellow peppers, marrow, sugar snap peas, aubergine, and artichokes are some more vegetables.
- Bread and cereals:Wholegrain products include digestive biscuits, wholegrain biscuits, brown rice, wholemeal pasta, Weetabix, Shredded Wheat, Bran Flakes, granary or seed breads
- Nuts, seeds, peanut butter.
